🤖Step 3: Setup Trade Copier

  1. Navigate to the Trade Copier section:

    1. Click the Menu

    2. Click 'Configurator'

    3. Click 'Trade Copier'

  1. Click “Create Copier”

  1. Configure Copier Settings

    1. Make sure it says 'Copy from' to " ⚡️ TRND Bot Optimus (V2)"

    2. Make sure it says 'Send to' "The Account You Want Trades In"

    3. Risk Type: "Risk Multiplier by Balance" (we'll talk about other options below, this is just default)

    4. Multiplier: 1.00

    5. Copy Existing Trades: No (👈 IMPORTANT IT STAYS "NO" & NOT YES)

    6. Click "Create Copier"

  2. Configure additional settings by clicking on the gear icon next to the red stop button on the right.

  1. Configure "Risk Settings"

    1. By default we set the algorithm to take the safest risk to reward ratio possible. Anything lower or higher than default you accept liability & under performance, including account liquidation if not used correctly.

      1. Reverse trades: Keep at "no".

      2. Risk Type: "Risk Multiplier by Balance" allows you to make deposits to your trading account, and the algorithm automatically adjusts to take bigger trades with a larger deposit. Leave this at Risk Multiplier by Balance.

      3. Multiplier: This is the main risk lever you have. We keep at at 1 by default, but if you want to lower risk by -10% you would set this to .9. Additionally, if you wanted to lower risk by -30%, you could set multiplier to .7, etc. Lower risk will also lower gains, but make it safer. Keeping multiplier at 1 will give you default risk and default performance.

      4. Slippage: We don't suggest changing this, if you're using OX securities as their slippage is never 100 or more.

      5. Force Min Lot: If your account is below the suggested balance of $5,000 minimum, we suggest enabling "force min lot" to "yes". Otherwise, this section is irrelevant and can stay at "no".

      6. Any account below a $5,000 balance is considered high risk. This is because the balance vs the smallest allowed lot sizes are based on default balance of $5k. If you are below $5k it is taking on more risk per lot. Please do not use the algorithm without $5,000 balance.

    2. Max Lot: IMPORTANT 👉 Max Lot should be set, and changed over time, depending on account balance. Please follow the table below.

    3. Click Update on when finished

IMPORTANT: as your account grows, please adjust these so that the algorithm has enough access to capital to remain profitable during volatile moments. It is uncommon on a daily basis to get close to max lot figures above.

  1. Configure Stops & Limits

    1. Click in the submenu in the top left to 'Risks & Limits'

    2. Change Take Profit, Stop Loss, and Pending Orders to "yes". Please note this does not set a stop loss on your account. To do that you need to set an equity stop loss here: https://trnd-bot-1.gitbook.io/onboarding/equity-stop-loss

    3. Click Update on when finished

  1. Disabled Symbols can stay as is

  2. Map Symbols only needs to be configured if you do NOT use an OX Securities Pro Account

    1. If you do not have a Pro account with OX Securities, please contact your account manager to help you map the correct symbol for you account type.

    2. If you do not use OX Securities, please contact your Account Manager to help you map the correct symbol for you brokerage.

  3. Turn on TRND Bot Optimus 🎉

    1. Click the submenu in the top left and click, "General"

    2. If you plan to trade before Presidential Inauguration (Jan 20th, 2025):

      1. Change 'Copier Mode' to ON

    3. If you plan to trade after Presidential Inauguration wait until that date and when you're ready to trade you change 'Copier Mode' to ON. Please understand in a new Presidential year, many unexpected events can happen that could lead to underperformance.

    4. Important 👉 Leave 'Copy Existing Trades' to NO

    5. Click Update
